CampCon10 - Powered by SPARC

Category: Regional Workshops

Looking for a high powered training day for your summer camp staff? Bring your team to CampCon10 at Congressional School in Falls Church, VA this coming June! SPARC has partnered with Congressional to provide a comprehensive training experience. With hundreds of attendees, a full slate of dynamic speakers and trainers, and a blend of staff from many different programs, this is an ideal opportunity to supplement your own staff training experience.

Workshop Leaders:

Steve Maguire, Go Turnstone
Steve Maguire Steve's mission as a professional speaker is to provide fun, professional and inspiring presentations for all clients. Speaking and training in the primary fields of schools and summer camps, Steve's audiences range from summer camp staff and administrators to school faculty, students, athletes and parents. In 2004 Steve started his own professional speaking business because he saw a need for dynamic, fun and educational programs in both the academic and camp setting. Since then, over 1,000 schools and summer camps across the United States have brought him in to work with their faculty and staff. He has the perfect blend of humor and energy. His audiences consistently describe him as "dynamic," "hilarious" and "engaging."
Scott Arizala, The Camp Consultant
Scott Arizala Scott Arizala, founder and CEO, has been involved with camps and youth development for over thirty years as a camper, counselor, administrator, teacher and consultant. As a professional speaker and educator, he has given keynotes, workshops, seminars and educational sessions at numerous professional conferences, training events, and organizations.
Jack Schott, The Summer Camp Society
Jack Schott Jack Schott struggles with bureaucracy, loves fun, and secretly stays up late obsessing over businessy stuff. His unique perspectives come from his varied background. An engineer, Jack took the first few years post-college to travel the country visiting over 200 camps in 47 states. Building on what he saw, he co-founded Stomping Ground, a non-profit sleepaway camp inspiring radical empathy and co-founded The Summer Camp Society. In 2023, Jack trained more than 2000 camp staff at 20+ camps.
