Projects of any kind present a unique opportunity for community building, even if the community only exists for the lifetime of the project. Bringing a group of people together to work on a shared goal creates a deeper level of human synergy, where the contributions of the whole exceed the sum of the parts. At the same time, team members bring their own challenges, biases, limitations and conflicts to a project. It’s not always their choice to work together but a requirement of their professional role. For the team to ignite into an engaged productive community, it’s important to focus on ways to build the trust, identify, and overall culture of the team.

Join Miranda Barrett, Certified Association Executive (CAE), Project Management Professional (PMP), and former camp counselor and current "Camp Mom" at Rockbrook Camp in North Carolina as she explores community building in projects.

Presenter:

Miranda Barrett runs Capacity to Scale, helping fast-growth entrepreneurs to more effectively execute strategic initiatives to change the trajectory of their business.
