The 17th annual Summer Summit returns in person on Friday, December 6, hosted at Sidwell Friends School. This is an energetic, fun, professional development event with 75+ Summer & Auxiliary Programs directors and staff. There will be over 20 break-out sessions and roundtables to choose from.
Keynote Speaker: Travis Allen Travis Allen is igniting a revolution in education with the Human Intelligence Movement. Boldly challenging the status quo, Allen asserts that traditional schooling is obsolete in the face of advancing AI. His cutting-edge vision demands we prioritize uniquely human skills that AI can't replicate. Keynote Session - Prioritizing Human Intelligence for an AI World How can we prepare our students for jobs that don't exist yet? As artificial intelligence continues transforming the workforce, we must equip our students with the "Human Intelligence" they need to succeed. In this thought-provoking keynote, Travis Allen makes a compelling call to action to cultivate the uniquely human-centered skills that set us apart from machines.
